Silicon Mechanics Uses New AMD EPYC™ 7003 Processors to Drive Performance and Value for the Modern Data Center

EPYC™ 7003 Series processors are designed to be the world’s highest performance x86 processor*, helping companies maximize the benefit from their software investment and providing an attractive data center return on investment (ROI).

EPYC™ 7003 Series processors continue to deliver the innovation and technology IT professionals need with industry leading I/O ii*, 7nm x86 hybrid die core, and the assurance of modern security features. Designed to be the world’s highest performance x86 processor, driving faster time to value, EPYC™ 7003 Series processors can help speed data analytics and get answers faster.

AMD continues to drive x86 security feature innovation with AMD Infinity Guard, a group of advanced security features and a silicon embedded security subsystem that helps protect a customer’s most valuable asset – their data. The new EPYC™ 7003 Series processors feature Secure Encrypted Virtualization-Secure Nested Paging (SEV-SNP), the next evolution of SEV, to provide capability for end-to-end encryption of data in virtualized environments iii.
